8 Dead Post Oaks Removed from Argyle Property

This property had eight dead post oaks scattered across the yard. That's not a minor eyesore - that's a serious liability waiting to happen. Dead post oaks don't give you much warning before they drop limbs or come down entirely, and with a pool area and living space right in the mix, getting these trees out was the right call.

Post oaks are everywhere out here in North Texas, and they're tough trees - until they're not. Once they die, the wood dries out and gets brittle fast. Branches can fall without any wind at all. That's what makes dead trees so different from a healthy tree with a few bad limbs. There's no managing them. They've got to come out.

We came in with the chipper trailer and got to work breaking everything down on-site. The logs were bucked up, the brush was chipped, and everything got hauled off clean.
