Sometimes a tree just has to go. Whether it's dead, declining, or simply taking up space that the yard could actually use - a large tree left standing too long becomes a liability. That was the situation here. A big red oak in the back had run its course, and three stumps scattered around the property were left behind from previous work. The homeowner wanted it all handled in one shot.

Tree removal on a property like this takes planning. The tree was sectioned down in pieces with rigging to keep everything controlled and away from the structure nearby. You can see the limbs were already stripped and the trunk brought down in manageable cuts. Cut logs stacked along the driveway, team on the ground managing each piece as it came down. Clean, methodical work.

Then came the stumps. We ran the grinder across all three - roots and all. Stump grinding isn't just about cutting the visible wood down. It's about getting below grade so the root system stops being a problem. No more tripping hazard, no more regrowth, and no more obstacle when it comes to mowing or using that part of the yard.

The difference between a yard with old stumps and a yard without them is bigger than most people expect. Once they're gone, that space is actually usable again. You can plant, lay sod, extend a patio - or just have a clean, open yard without something awkward sitting in the middle of it. That's what this property ended up with.

Between the tree removal and the stump grinding, this yard went from cluttered and hazardous to clean and open. If you've got a dead or oversized tree on your property - or a stump that's just been sitting there - we can take care of both.
